No English-language TV news (eg, BBC/CNN) - this is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. Rooms are nice but not up to 5-star standard - the sliding window was very stiff and difficult to open.

Tv had no English news (eg, cnn/bbc), inexcusable for a 5-star hotel. Very weak wifi connection in room. Although nice enough the rooms are not 5-star standard. Sliding window runners need serving as was very hard to open.

If you expect a fair-decent hotel, with a good breakfast, this might be your choice. Its close to the downtown of the city, has a built in cassino, but dont take this for a 'new' hotel. You can see some bad spots on the bathrooms, some loose parts, etc. If you care for something new, I wouldnt recomend Radisson. To be fair, this is almost a four- stars hotel and I wont be staying again.

We had a problem with the fan in the bathroom which resulted in total power failure of the room. Twice. Both times, during the shower, the fan short circuited, taking the entire room (and nearby rooms) offline. The problem was correted once and in less then 24h happened again. The "100% Guaranteed satisfaction or your money back" doesn't apply to Radisson Colonia.

They were remodelating the indoor pool and it was to noice at the restaurant

Many of staff didn't speak English at all or very well and therefore not helpful at times.

Excellent hotel, quite luxury but not overpriced, nice staff and tasty breakfast. Situated in a quiet street just a few minutes from Old Town. As it was lower season (september), we got a free "upgrade", i.e. a room with balcony and view to the pool and to the Río de la Plata. Spa area with jacuzzi and indoor pool small, but nice.

Reasonably closed to main aminities. It has a small swimming pool which is useful if you want to relax after a busy day touring.

Nothing special for the rating. Very expensive for what it is and not particularly friendly or helpful. Breakfast is basic, nothing special.

Beautiful pool facing west across the bay from Colonia. Walking distance to historic sites in Colonia.

After planning to sleep in on SUnday morning, I was woken at 0700h by a loud generator outside. Called the front desk and was told it would continue for an hour and a half. Could not get back to sleep. The room rate was much higher than comparable hotels where I stayed in Uruguay.
